1st ECO Tour Operators
Forum
Event production and a fully branded environment for the inaugural tourism forum of the Economic Cooperation Organization, hosted in Baku for the State Tourism Agency.
Project Overview
On 2-3 May 2024, Baku hosted the 1st ECO Tour Operators Forum, the first gathering of tour operators from across the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Co-organized by the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ECO, the forum brought together official representatives and tourism-industry professionals from nine member states: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Iran and Pakistan.
ADZONE 360 was engaged by the State Tourism Agency to deliver the production and branded environment for the two-day forum, from the opening plenary to the working sessions where operators met to develop joint ECO tour packages and agree cross-border partnerships.
Scope of Work
Our team handled the full on-site delivery: the branded conference environment (step-and-repeat backdrop, stage graphics, signage and delegate materials), stage and set build, AV and technical production, and the room configurations for each format. We coordinated the run-of-show across both days so each session, from opening addresses to the closing round-table, ran to schedule.
Forum Environment
The forum's colourful ECO identity carried across every surface, the main backdrop, the panel stage, the round-table screens and the delegate badges, giving a multi-country gathering a single coherent look. The room was reconfigured between formats: a plenary for the opening, a U-shaped round-table framed by the member-state flags for the working session, and a panel stage for "Developing and Implementation of Joint ECO Tour Packages."
